![]() iLevels over 250 will sail through early content. Players over iLevel 200 will likely find early questing in Dragonflight quite easy. This is the level that 60-boosted characters enter the game, as well as what players with a lot of heirloom gear will be with just dropped gear from leveling through 60 normally (heirloom iLevels increase with Dragonflight, as is detailed below). You won't stay here for long, since you'll start replacing gear after leaving Wingrest Embassy for Dragonheart Outpost, which is quite early in your campaign. There may be a few early quests that may pose some issues that require killing a couple named mobs, but you can just wait for a little help from other players to get through those if you can't do it on your own. Having tested a fairly gear-dependent class in Dragonflight Beta (Rogue), I can say this with certainty: you can enter Dragonflight leveling as low as iLevel 150 and it works reasonably well. ![]() ![]() Even if you're struggling early, you won't struggle long. Make sure to do all presented side quests, as these give gear options as well. However, like all expansions, there is a bit of a gear reset in Dragonflight. While high-level raid and Mythic+ gear from Shadowlands and high-level catch-up gear from Pre-Patch certainly do make leveling in the new Dragonflight zones easier, it's not necessary to get even that high in iLevels to be successful in the new Dragonflight zones. Many players worry about being "geared enough" to be able to level effectively in Dragonflight. This includes information about Chromie Time, heirlooms, and the leveling experiences for new WoW players and Dracthyr Evokers.
